Remodels & Deconstructions

Donate To The ReStore

Give Your Materials a Second Life
Are you remodeling or demolishing a home? Instead of sending old fixtures to the landfill, consider deconstruction donations. Habitat’s Park City ReStore can work with you and your contractor to carefully salvage reusable materials like cabinets, countertops, appliances, and lighting fixtures. Your construction team should gently remove these items so they remain in good condition for resale. You get the satisfaction of knowing your old kitchen or bathroom will help someone else – and you may even receive a tax deduction for your donated materials.
Build a Greener Community
In fact, our ReStore has diverted over 620 tons of waste from local landfills through donations like yours. This means fewer resources wasted and less construction debris polluting our beautiful mountains. Every deconstruction donation reduces waste and promotes recycling, helping build a greener, more sustainable community for everyone.
Supporting Affordable Housing for Local Workers
When you donate materials through deconstruction, you’re also investing in your neighbors. Every item sold at the ReStore helps fund Habitat for Humanity’s affordable housing projects in Summit and Wasatch Counties. That translates into real homes for local families and essential workers. Your old cabinets could help a teacher set roots in the community, or your donated appliances might contribute to a home for a nurse or firefighter who serves Park City.
In a resort-area housing market that many of our teachers, police officers, paramedics, and others are priced out of, your donation becomes part of the solution – ensuring those who serve our community can afford to live here and thrive.
Donate Today – Make a Lasting Impact
Every deconstruction donation is a win-win-win: it benefits you as a donor, the environment, and a family in need. If you’re planning a renovation or tear-down, consider partnering with Park City ReStore. We’ll handle the heavy lifting of salvaging materials, and you’ll know that the proceeds will build homes and hope for local families. Donate today to turn construction waste into new opportunities – together, we can build a stronger community from the pieces of the old.

Monetary Donations
At Habitat for Humanity of Summit and Wasatch Counties, we build. We build because we believe that everyone, everywhere should have a healthy, affordable place to call home. When a family helps build a place they can call home, they also build a better community, a better life for themselves.
Your donation will help families in need of a decent place to build long-term financial security. With an affordable, stable home, families have more to spend on food, medicine, child care, education and other essentials. Your support can help us do more in the many ways that Habitat builds.
